Security and Confidentiality

MediTran™ is built ground up to comply with HIPAA directives on security, confidentiality and integrity of Medical Records.

MediTran™ has well-defined Administrative Procedures in place such as Chain of Trust and Confidential non-disclosure Agreements for all its transcribers as well as with the doctor's offices.

MediTran™ has physical safeguards in place in the form of a secure 7/24 hosting center to ensure the security of its servers and systems.

Apart from its transcribers and QA personnel, only authorized systems administrators and developers have access to the MediTran™ platform.

MediTran™ does not use emails, faxes or couriers to transport voice files or transcribed records, thereby eliminating misdirected delivery or unintended recipients.

MediTran™ uses the latest security solutions to link its transcribers, internal systems, client hospitals and physician practices securely.

MediTran™ provides security using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) connections and Digital Certificate authentication for document retrieval and voice file transfers.

MediTran™ uses 128-bit encryption in all its document retrieval and voice file transfer.

MediTran™ uses secured usercode / password authentication to ensure only authenticated users have access to the system.

The combination of these solutions creates private, encrypted connections through the internet for secure transfer of voice files and transcribed records.
